SCM buys Kolosnykivska enrichment plant

Cypriot-based System Capital Management (SCM) has bought a 99.98% stake in Kolosnykivska central enrichment factory (Makiyivka, Donetsk region), the factory reported in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine.

Previously the owners of the factory were PJSC ARS, Investenergovuhillia LLC (both based in Donetsk, each owned 24.49%) and Omni International Ventures Ltd. (the British Virgin Islands, 51%).

ARS was previously one of the largest players on the Ukrainian market of coking coal and coke. The main founders are two individuals – Serhiy Kiy (62.5%) and Oleksandr Humeniuk (22.5%).

SCM (System Capital Management) Limited (Cyprus) is a holding company that owns the corporate rights of businesses, included in the consolidated financial statements of SCM Group: Metinvest and DTEK, ASKA and ASKA-Life, Vega telecommunications group, Ukraina media group, ESTA Holding (real estate), Ukrainskiy Retail (retail), UMG (clay production), Parallel (the fuel market operator), HarvEast (agriculture), Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding, Corum Group (formerly Mining Machines), the Portinvest and Lemtrans transport holdings, and others.

A 100% stake in SCM (System Capital Management) Limited (Cyprus) is indirectly owned by Rinat Akhmetov.
