We must introduce European standards, as well as improve relations with Russia, says Rybak

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has said Ukraine must adopt all the best standards of the European Union, while at the same time to keep its share of the market with the Customs Union, and in particular with Russia.

"Today we're between the EU and the Customs Union, because we need the best standards that Europe has - they have to be introduced," Rybak said in Simferopol on Thursday while delivering a speech to representatives of the Crimean local authorities.

"This concerns jobs, salaries, medical services etc. Today we're talk about integrating with the EU. We don't know when we'll enter the EU. Not all of the countries that are in the union now were so 10-15 years ago. However, we have to do everything to maintain and improve relations with our Russian neighbor, with our brothers. Here is our market, and if our market is here, then we'll have jobs and salaries."
