Klitschko team fears fight with Povetkin could again be disrupted

The team of the Klitschko brothers has said it fears that the fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Russian boxer Alexander Povetkin could again be disrupted.

"Given that the fight has been disrupted twice, we fear that, God forbid, for a third time there [might be] a certain reason not to hold this fight," boxer and UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko told reporters on Wednesday during his visit to the School of Success educational camp of the Klitschko Brothers Foundation in Bucha (Kyiv region).

At the same time, he said that Klitschko's team hopes that the fight will take place and that there will be no force majeure circumstances.

"As for our part, Klitschko's team, I can say that Wladimir is ready to prove to any athlete in the world and defend the title of the strongest boxer, whoever it is, including Povetkin," Klitschko said.
