Ukraine's efforts to develop algorithms for compensating for Russia's damage during the Russian aggression and the possibility of bringing it to justice were the main topics of the Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk's speech at the annual Israel Bar Association. The Embassy of Ukraine in Israel reported this at Facebook.

«Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel participated at the panel dedicated to the unprovoked war of russia against Ukraine and the war crimes of the russian army. Ambassador Korniychuk, as keynote speaker, mentioned the diplomatic and legal efforts of our state to develop algorithms for compensation of damage (infrastructure, industry, civil sector, affected individuals), which russia causes during full-scale and bloody war against Ukraine», - the statement reads.

In particular, the possibility of using existing international bodies to bring russia to account, and creating ad hoc international tribunal has been discussed.

«Separately was raised the issue of engagement of foreign governments - donors and international funds to charitable projects for reconstruction of Ukraine after the war», - the Embassy noted.
