Horishni Plavni Intensive Care Hospital received a hemodialysis apparatus from Ferrexpo
Ferrexpo donated the Diapact ‘artificial kidney’ hemodialysis apparatus (manufactured by BRAUN, Germany) to the Horishni Plavni Intensive Care Hospital.
This device will be used in the intensive care unit for hemodialysis patients with acute kidney failure, multiple organ failure (including those caused by COVID-19) and intoxication. The cost of this equipment is over UAH 1.1 million.
“We are grateful to Ferrexpo for such a gift which will help support the vital functions of our patients. It is very valuable that in addition to assistance related to the fight against coronavirus we receive equipment that is vital even in a non-epidemic period”, - the hospital said.
Ferrexpo continues to monitor the situation with the coronavirus spread, researches the needs of hospitals and quickly closes them as part of its COVID-19 assistance program.
