During the days of Ukraine in Kuwait, which were organized and initiated by the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait, the Ukrainian composer and  virtuoso pianist Evgeny Khmara made a number of performances as part of cultural and political events.

With the support of the Embassy, ​​the composer had the honour of becoming a representative of modern Ukrainian culture, presenting his work to the local political and cultural elite, as well as to the Ukrainian diaspora.

During the week of Ukraine in Kuwait, Evgeny Khmara held a number of concerts: for students and representatives of the Higher Institute of Musical Arts music institute, opening fashion shows for the local elite and representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora, performing at the Theater as a special guest at a concert of the Kyiv classic Ukrainian symphony orchestra, participation in a diplomatic reception, where he performed the anthem of Ukraine, Kuwait, as well as his own compositions.

Over the course of five days, more than 20 events took place in Kuwait that introduced modern Ukraine to the political and business elite of the Middle East.

One of the most impressive facts was that the Ukrainian Embassy in Kuwait managed to place Ukrainian flags on the main skyscrapers of the city, which shone around the capital around the clock for a whole week! None of the embassies of other countries represented in Kuwait have managed to do this yet.

Such a number of events aimed at the presentation of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait became possible only thanks to the enthusiasm and hard work of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait, Oleksandr Balanutsa and his diplomatic team.
