AFU Commander: Task of million FPV drones to be achieved

Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vadym Sukharivsky announces a trend of increasing the number of unmanned aerial vehicles of various systems used by the Ukrainian military.

"Over these six months, the state has supplied the Armed Forces of Ukraine six times more drones than in the entire past year combined. And the trend is only growing," Sukharivsky said at a press conference in Kyiv, answering the question about how many drones can be produced for the Ukrainian military.

"The president's goal of more than a million FPV [drones], believe me, will be fulfilled and exceeded. This is guaranteed," the commander said.

In addition, he said that the Drone Coalition is also actively working to purchase drones for the Ukrainian military from international partners. The Drone Coalition is working, it is alive and quite effective. A special financial platform has been created for this coalition, which is filled with a list of funds, mainly foreign-made," Sukharivsky said.

According to him, the Baltic countries are currently preparing a large batch of drones for transfer to Ukraine. "This batch will consist of tens of thousands of drones," Sukharivsky said.
