The Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine conducted a successful cyberattack, as a result of which the entire IT infrastructure of the IPL Consulting company specializing in the implementation of information systems in the Russian industry was destroyed.

"This company presented itself as one of the most modern Russian enterprises that assisted in the implementation of information systems in institutions engaged in the design, manufacture of automotive and aviation components, heavy machinery, production of equipment and devices, in particular in the interests of the Russian military-industrial complex," the Ministry of Defense said on the Telegram channel.

The attack against IPL Consulting was carried out by GUR specialists, who penetrated the company's internal network and destroyed its entire IT infrastructure with a size of more than 60 terabytes, dozens of servers and databases.

"The cost of the digital data array lost by Russia is being calculated. In the context of the ongoing sanctions pressure against Russia, the damage to the enemy has been extremely painful. In addition, dozens of Russian companies working for the ‘defense industry’ of the aggressor state will suffer," the GUR stressed.
