An oil refinery in the Russian city of Tuapse (Krasnodar Territory, Russia) was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), an informed source told Interfax-Ukraine.

"The oil refinery in the Russian Tuapse has become another target of the SBU. Security drones attacked this important enemy facility. After two powerful explosions, a large-scale fire started there tonight. The installation of primary processing of petroleum products, namely, vacuum and atmospheric columns, was damaged," the agency's interlocutor said on Thursday.

According to the source, the SBU "hits deep into Russia and continues attacks on facilities that are not only important for the Russian economy, but also provide fuel to enemy troops."

The agency's interlocutor recalled that a few days ago, the SBU conducted a special operation at the Ust-Luga Oil oil terminal in Leningrad region, after the attack, sea supplies of crude oil from the Russian Federation fell to a minimum.
