Pilot project of school of UAV operators for teenagers starts in Ivano-Frankivsk region

The network of educational, cultural and volunteer spaces Honcharenko Center is launching a pilot project of a school of UAV operators for teenagers in Ivano-Frankivsk, the press service of the center reported.

"The Honcharenko Center network of Educational, Cultural and volunteer Spaces is launching UAV operator schools for teenagers. All classes are free and designed for schoolchildren and students aged 14 to 18 years. The pilot project is being implemented at the center in Ivano-Frankivsk," the press service said in a message received by Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

It is reported that the course will help teenagers master the theoretical component of drone control and learn how to control drones of various types in practice.

The theoretical component of the course provides for the study of the history and applications of UAVs, the use of drones on the territory of Ukraine and acquaintance with professions related to the production and use of drones. In the practical part, teenagers will first learn how to control drones on simulators, and after that they will start working with real drones of various types, including FPV, which are actively used by Ukrainian defenders at the front.

Participation in the school of UAV operators for teenagers is free and available to everyone aged 14 to 18 years. At the end of the training, all participants will receive certificates of completion of the course. After the successful launch of the project, the organizers plan to expand the training to other spaces throughout the country.
