Some 48 dead identified as result of missile attack on Hroza – police

Law enforcement officers have identified 48 of the 51 killed as a result of the attack on the village of Hroza, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, carried out by the invaders on October 5, deputy head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region - head of the investigation department Serhiy Bolvinov says.

"Forty-eight dead from the village of Hroza have already been identified. Our specialists continue their work; they have already selected and processed DNA samples from sixteen relatives. Another 79 samples from unidentified bodies and fragments of remains are run through the ANDE DNA complex. The Russian missile tore people apart in such a way that criminologists and investigators have dozens of such fragments - they are carefully working with each one, collecting the dead literally piece by piece," Bolvinov wrote on his Facebook page.

As reported, on October 5, at about 13:25, the occupiers launched a missile strike, presumably with Iskander-M, on a cafe-shop in the village of Hroza, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, where a funeral was being held on the occasion of the reburial of a Ukrainian military man, a native of this village. As a result of the strike, 51 people were killed and six were injured.
