The Ministry of Education and Science states that the comparative analysis confirms that the qualifications framework of Ukraine and the European Union are comparable.

"Building a sustainable national qualifications system and improving the National Qualifications Framework are among the key commitments of the participating countries of the Bologna Process. Ukraine fulfills them at a high level, as evidenced by the report that is presented today. The implementation of this comparative analysis also fully meets the obligations assumed by Ukraine on the path to European integration," the press service quoted First Deputy Minister Andriy Vitrenko as saying.

It is noted that the comparative report is also an important achievement in the context of the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, which requires closer cooperation on qualification issues.

According to the report, the comparative analysis confirms that the qualifications framework of Ukraine and the EU are comparable and a correspondence can be established between them.

"Further steps to promote transparency and comparability of Ukrainian and European qualifications will be to ensure the dissemination of the results of the comparative analysis by the EU and Ukraine, as well as the development and implementation of a joint action plan," the report says.
