MFA launches Russian-language version of online archive of Russian war crimes

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has launched a Russian-language version of the online archive of Russian war crimes for all Russian-speaking audiences around the world.

"The purpose of the online archive is to ensure that all people who speak Russian have access to verified information about the atrocities of the Russian army in Ukraine and to ensure that Russian war criminals are brought to justice," the agency said in a press release released Sunday evening.

The online archive is already working and available at https://war.ukraine.ua/ru/russia-war-crimes/. The data is constantly updated in cooperation with Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and international organizations and monitoring missions.

The site documents the war crimes committed by the Russian army in Ukraine during the full-scale invasion since February 24, 2022. Crimes are divided into seven categories: killing of innocents, attacks on civilians or civilian objects, destruction of settlements, hostages and torture, illegal deportation, attacks on religion and culture, and rape.

The Foreign Ministry recalled that on April 9, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba presented an online archive of Russian war crimes, created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine together with partners.

"We will definitely punish Russian war criminals for the atrocities in Ukraine. Not only the perpetrators, but also the commanders who gave orders and the entire vertical to the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation. The online archive ensures that the Russians will not be able to hide the truth about their terrible crimes in Ukraine from the world," he said.

The site was created in such a way as to convey to the reader at least part of the terrifying atmosphere of the war in which Ukrainians have been living for more than two months. You can hear air assault signal, see scary photos from the scene and read eyewitness accounts.

The online archive is an integral part of https://war.ukraine.ua/ru/ - the official resource about the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
