Ukraine counts on humanitarian aid to restore, maintain work of public utilities – Naftogaz head

Ukraine is counting on humanitarian assistance to restore and maintain the work of public utilities, Yuriy Vitrenko, the head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, said.

"We are currently financing from our internal budget and reserves, but we are already negotiating with international partners, including financial institutions, so that we can be provided with humanitarian assistance for the public utilities sector," he said at a press conference in Lviv on Friday.

Vitrenko also thanked foreign investors who continue their work in the country amid Russian aggression, helping provide energy resources and creating a positive gas balance in Ukraine.
