No one conducting poll initiated by Zelensky at many polling stations in Kyiv, at others volunteers working without tables

Many voters who came to polling stations in Kyiv and Kyiv region to cast their votes in the local elections on Sunday did not meet volunteers near the polling stations who are conducting a popular poll initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

There were no volunteers either at his polling station or at five other polling stations in the Dniprovsky region 15-30 minutes after their opening, an Interfax-Ukraine agency correspondent reports.

Also, volunteers were not seen at one of the polling station in the Darnytsky district of Kyiv shortly after the opening and in Boyarka, Kyiv region, three hours after the polling station began its work.

At one of the polling stations in the Desniansky district of the capital, a volunteer came about 10 minutes after the start of voting and settled down near the entrance to the school where the polling station is located. The volunteer has only a small cardboard box, a pen and a bundle of questionnaires at his disposal; there is no table. Those taking part in the survey put marks in the questionnaires by placing them directly on the ballot box. At the same time, the majority of voters who come to polling stations ignore the poll.

A similar situation was recorded at two polling stations in the Solomiansky district of Kyiv: volunteers, one or two young men dressed in white vests with the words "five questions from the president", were standing on the street at the exits from the polling stations with questionnaires and cardboard boxes, they did not turn to voters.

Earlier, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov said that he did not take part in the presidential poll, since volunteers did not work at the polling station where he voted.

Zelensky took part in the survey. The video recorded by cameras of a number of Ukrainian TV channels shows that he was filling out a questionnaire placing it on a cardboard ballot box.
