Border guards at the Boryspil Airport in Kyiv have barred John Graeme Broderip Warren, a national of the United Kingdom and the host of a program on the Russian television channel NTV, from entering Ukraine and imposed a three-year entry ban on him for violating the rules of entering Crimea.

"The UK citizen, who works as the host of the Poyedem, Poyedim [Let's Go, Let's Eat] program on a Russian TV channel was discovered while passengers from a London flight were processed," Oleh Slobodian, an aide to the Ukrainian Border Service chief, said on Facebook.

While being interviewed, Warren confirmed that he had visited Crimea in September and October 2015, he said.

"Within the [Border Service's] purview and based on the information uncovered, this individual was not let through the Ukrainian border. He has also been barred from entering Ukraine for three years," Slobodian said.
