Constitutional Court recognizes constitutionality of bill on removal of parliamentary immunity

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has declared constitutional deputy bill No. 6773 introducing amendments to the country's main law in terms of the revocation of parliamentary immunity, according to the court's official website.

"This law comes into force on the day following the day of its publication. It generally meets the requirements of Articles 157 and 158 of the Constitution of Ukraine. The conclusion of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine is mandatory, final and not subject to appeal," according to the concluding clauses of the Constitutional Court's opinion in the case on the revocation of parliamentary immunity, which were provided on Wednesday, June 6.
