Constitutional Court declares law on all-Ukrainian referendum unconstitutional

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has recognized Ukraine's law on all-Ukrainian referendum as unconstitutional.

Relevant information was confirmed to Interfax-Ukraine by a source.

In addition, Constitutional Court Judge Vasyl Lemak wrote on his Facebook page: "The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has passed a judgment, whose author was I and which I am deeply convinced is important to Ukraine. I am pleased that the judgment was unanimously adopted by all the judges present and, probably even more by the fact that the Constitutional Court felt itself as a Court! Thank you, fellow judges, for your trust. "

The April 26 agenda of the plenary session of the Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine has the continuation of the consideration of the case on the constitutional query by 57 lawmakers regarding the compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine (constitutionality) of the law on the all-Ukrainian referendum. It was considered during the closed part of the plenary session.
