Saakashvili informs his term of legal stay in Ukraine extended for 3 months

Leader of the New Forces Movement party, ex-President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has said that the Migration Service of Ukraine has issued him a certificate on the extension of the legal period of stay in Ukraine for another three months.

"Very polite employees of the Migration Service issued me a certificate on the extension of the term of legal stay in Ukraine for another three months, and even kindly treated me to tea," he wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

In support of his words, he published photographs of the relevant information.

At the same time, Saakashvili said that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had received the court's permission to conduct searches in his apartment and office premises.

"At the same time, there is still a threat - the SBU was authorized to search my apartment and office space in the coup case," the politician wrote, adding that the surveillance for him and his close allies has been doubled.
