On Thursday, European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmstrom said that the trilateral meeting of EU-Russia-Ukraine on the implementation of the commercial-economic part of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement will take place in May.

She also referred to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and said that the date, when the Association Agreement came into effect wouldn't change, it would happen on January 1, 2016.

At the meeting of EU Council on Thursday, the European Commission will inform the minster of the trade negotiations between the EU, Russia and Ukraine. The first meeting of ministers of Eastern Partnership countries will be held in Brussels after the meeting of EU Council.
