No Ukrainians in Germanwings crash in French Alps – Foreign Ministry

No Ukrainians were on the Germanwings plane that crashed in southern France on March 24, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis has said.

"No Ukrainian citizens were on Germanwings flight 4U9525 which crashed in southern France on March 24," Perebyinis wrote on Twitter.

As reported, a Germanwings A320 flying from Barcelona to Düsseldorf crashed on Tuesday in southern France, killing all onboard. It was carrying 144 passengers and 6 crew – two pilots and 4 stewards and stewardesses. Most of the passengers were German citizens. Citizens of Australia, the UK, Spain, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Japan were also onboard.
