Constitutional Court to consider case on constitutionality of Crimean referendum on March 13

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine at its sitting on March 13 will start consideration of a case under a petition from acting President of Ukraine and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov regarding the constitutionality of resolution of the Supreme Council of Crimea No. 1702-6/14 dated March 6 on holding a local referendum on joining Russia.

The panel of judges decided that the case would be considered in a written form, the court's spokesman told Interfax-Ukraine.

However, accredited mass media can attend the hearing, which starts at 1600.
