Yatseniuk: opposition calls for early presidential and parliamentary elections

The Ukrainian opposition insists on calling early parliamentary and presidential elections simultaneously, Arseniy Yatseniuk, the leader of the opposition Batkivschyna party's parliamentary faction, has said.

"We demand the government's resignation and [President] Viktor Yanukovych's replacement by holding simultaneously presidential and parliamentary elections," Yatseniuk said at a briefing in Kyiv on Saturday.
