Syrsky: Measures being taken to provide military with everything they need in Zaporizhia region
Measures are being taken to provide units in Zaporizhia region with everything necessary for defensive actions in the autumn-winter period, reported Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.
"Measures were taken to provide units with additional weapons, equipment and everything necessary," he wrote on Monday following the results of work in units and subdivisions participating in the defense operation in Zaporizhia region.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces met with brigade commanders. "We analyzed in detail the situation in the combat zones, the state of supply of units with ammunition, UAVs and electronic warfare equipment," he noted.
"In this part of the front, military actions of varying intensity continue. The enemy is using attack and bomber aircraft, drones of all types in combination with artillery and mortar fire. In such conditions, our main task is to strengthen the defense of the troops in the most difficult sections of the front and ensure maximum stability of the defense line," Syrsky wrote.
