USAID to provide $13 mln as part of new Rehabilitation for Ukraine initiative

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will provide an initial $13 million under the Rehabilitation for Ukraine initiative, aimed at supporting physical rehabilitation systems; the project will work in 15 regions.
“The United States, through USAID, announced today an initial allocation of $13 million to strengthen the capacity of physical rehabilitation systems in Ukraine,” USAID said on its website Wednesday.
It is noted that “the new USAID Rehabilitation for Ukraine initiative, or Rehab4U, will increase access to services and assistive technology, and promote inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities in their communities and the country’s recovery.”
It is noted that Rehab4U will promote a resilient and inclusive rehabilitation system. The project will be implemented across 15 regions in Ukraine to ensure nationwide impact.
