Ukraine uses its drones to attack military targets in Russia but never hit Russian civilian infrastructure, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at the Ambrosetti Forum in Italy on Friday.

"When we talk about the fact that, for example, Italy or someone else is afraid that we will hit the Kremlin, I am sorry, but we cannot do it. Because the long-range destruction means that you or your partners have reach 200 kilometers," he said, by clarifying that it was a joke.

Zelenskyy added that Russia uses about 4,000 bombs for strikes on eastern Ukraine every month, which it launches from airplanes deployed on military airfields. Russia will not stop and will destroy Ukrainian villages and towns.

"Speaking about a thousand kilometers, we use our own drones, of our own production. But we don't target civilians. They are our enemies because they support Putin's policies. But we never, never hit their civilian infrastructure," he emphasized.
