Starting today, the Army+ mobile application for Ukrainian servicemen will allow converting paper reports into electronic form, said Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

“When we started working on this application, we did a survey to understand which of the digital services is most in demand in the army today. Our survey showed that more than 64% of military personnel prioritized the transfer of paper reports to electronic form. Starting today, the Army+ gives this opportunity. On the platform, it will be possible to issue a report on vacation, assistance or recovery. And this is just the beginning,” said Umerov at the presentation of the application on Thursday.

He stressed that Ukraine is working on a service that will combine resource management and facilitate more effective coordination of actions.

“This will allow our defense forces to act faster, more accurately and, most importantly, safely. Our strategy is the modernization and digitalization of the army to strengthen the defense capability of military operations and the ability of our army,” the minister said.

Umerov added that an order will be signed today together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “this application will already work.”
