National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom at the occupied Zaporizhia NPP and its other facilities lost property worth UAH 32 billion due to damage and destruction by Russian invaders.

"Due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the property and infrastructure of the temporarily occupied ZNPP and other separate divisions of Energoatom were damaged or destroyed. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of this company's property, buildings, structures, and infrastructure facilities has already reached UAH 32 billion," Energoatom said on its Telegram channel on Monday.

At the same time, the company said that the size of losses and damage inflicted on Energoatom by Russia would be determined after the de-occupation of the ZNPP, the return of actual control over all property to the Ukrainian operator, and its full verification and inventory.
