ProZorro.Sale and SPF launch pilot project for sale of small-scale privatization objects
Ukraine's Ministry of Justice has registered the order of the State Property Fund (SPF) on the procedure for selling small-scale privatization objects through the ProZorro.Sale electronic trading system, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has said.
"We already sell the assets of bankrupt banks, the property of state and municipal enterprises, second-hand materials and equipment, and even lease rights through electronic auctions. Now the system will also include objects managed by the State Property Fund," the ministry's press service said citing First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maksym Nefyodov.
According to the agency, the matter, inter alia, concerns the sale of non-residential and warehouse premises on the balance of small state-owned enterprises. In particular, the list of objects that are put up for sale included the property complexes of boarding houses and recreation centers, used cars, tower cranes, non-residential buildings, warehouses.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at a meeting on September 7 approved the use of the ProZorro.Sale electronic auction system for the sale of assets of state enterprises.
