SPF selects appraiser for Odesa Port-Side Plant, wants to launch privatization late 2017

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) on September 8, 2017 selected the appraiser for a state-owned stake of shares in public joint-stock company Odesa Port-Side Plant, First Deputy SPF Head Dmytro Parfenenko said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
"We plan to start the third privatization of Odesa Port-Side Plant at the end of this year… on September 8, 2017 the appraiser was selected. We are in line with the schedule," he said.
The government at a September 13 meeting approved the financial plan of Odesa Port-Side Plant for 2017.
As reported, Ukraine twice put the plant up for sale in 2016: first in July at the starting price of UAH 13.175 billion and then in December at the reduced price of UAH 5.16 billion. The privatization auctions failed to take place.
