Parliament to exclude amber from list of precious stones

The Verkhovna Rada at first reading at a meeting on Tuesday supported a draft law on amber (No. 5497), which foresees the exclusion of amber from the list of precious stones, thereby simplifying its production and sale.

The document was submitted to the parliament by MP Mykola Shershun (the Bloc of Lytvyn faction) and registered on December 29, 2009.
