Lviv passes draft budget for 2017 - Sadovy

Lviv was first among Ukrainian cities that passed the budget for 2017, city mayor Andriy Sadovy has stated.

"Lviv was first among the cities of Ukraine that approved the budget for 2017. The revenue and expenditure parts of the budget amount to UAH 5.4 billion, and we'll receive even more funds for subsidies after the national budget is approved," he said.

Some 42 deputies voted for the draft budget, six abstained and 11 deputies did not vote.

According to the draft budget, the revenue part was approved at the level of UAH 5.4 billion. The general fund of the revenue part is UAH 4 billion, official transfers amount to UAH 1.12 billion, the development budget is UAH 153 million.

The expenditure part was approved at the level of UAH 5.398 billion, of which the general fund of the budget stands at UAH 2.545 billion, official transfers come to UAH 1.12 billion, the development budget is UAH 1.386 billion. According to the decision, UAH 1.235 billion from the general fund of the budget revenue part will be transferred to the budget for development.

According to Sadovy, the budget for development will be approved in detail in December this year.
