ProZorro to issue professional licenses for using analytics module in June
Transparency International Ukraine and the ProZorro team under the auspices of the International Renaissance Foundation have held a roundtable "ProZorro Anti-Corruption Guard – Everyone is to Go Out of the Shadows" devoted to achievements and prospects of reforming the Ukrainian public procurement system and engagement of the public in supervision over the use of budget funds.
"In June the ProZorro team will start issuing professional licenses for using the analytics module. In addition to the key tools of analytics, the license holders would have additional opportunities, for example, to create personal data filters that could be used to find infringements, conduct journalists' investigations and other things," the ProZorro team said on its website.
Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Maskym Nefyodov said that the public procurement reform is intended to increase effectiveness of using budget funds. He said that the goal can be achieved only with boosting competition thanks to the relaxation of access to tenders, reaching a level playing field for all participants and the full transparency of procedures.
ProZorro coordinator Khrystyna Hutsalova said that a two-day training course for trainers from 16 regions is scheduled for June. They will train the users of the system. The training aims at creating ProZorro changes agents in all regions.
