Securities commission annuls UICE licens

The National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, when considering cases against PJSC Ukrainian Interbank Currency Exchange (UICE, Kyiv), has decided to impose sanctions within two cases, the regulator has said.

"In case of non-compliance with the instructions on the use of license conditions, namely bringing the documents of UICE, as an organizer of trading, in accordance with the regulations of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, it was decided to cancel the UICE license for professional activity in the stock market, in particular organization of trading in the stock market," the regulator said.

It was also decided to impose sanctions worth UAH 17,000 on UICE in the case of violating the regulator's norms, namely for a repeated failure to submit reports by the organizer of trading.

Both decisions are fixed in the securities commission's resolution on imposing sanctions, which can be appealed at the expert council of appeals for licensing issues at the State Regulatory Service of Ukraine and/or in court, the regulator said.
