Bank Khreschatyk increases charter capital by 24%

Bank Khreschatyk (Kyiv) has increased its charter capital by UAH 200 million or 24.1%, to UAH 1.029 billion via an additional issue of shares, the bank said in a Wednesday press release.

The bank said that its shareholders at a general meeting on April 21 approved the results of the tenth issue of shares.

"The further capitalization of the bank is a planned process foreseen in the bank's development strategy until 2020. By the end of this year it is planned to increase the bank's capital by another UAH 350 million," the press service said, citing Board Chairman Dmytro Hrydzhuk.

According to the report, the shareholders at the meeting reshuffled the supervisory board: Kostiantyn Sytniuk and Ihor Ioilev replaced Oleksiy Horak and Artem Laznia as supervisory board members. The supervisory board has nine members. Andriy Herasymenko is head of the board.

Bank Khreschatyk was founded in 1993. The main financial department of Kyiv City State Administration as of early October 2014 owned a 24.9397% stake in the bank, Ukrfinkom 37.4427% and Market Invest Group Ltd. 21.032%.

The bank ranked 25th among 158 operating banks as of January 1, 2015, in terms of total assets worth UAH 9.044 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
