The Roshen international confectionary corporation, one of the largest confectionary manufacturers in Ukraine, has expanded a line of its products at the Bonbonetti Choco factory in Hungary, which the corporation bought last year, reads a report on the Web site of Bonbonetti Group.

The report says that in July the factory started producing chocolate bars under the Bonbonetti Elegance trademark in four flavors.

In March 2013, the corporation also launched production of hard candies and soft candies at the factory.

As reported, the head of Russia's Federal Consumer Rights Protection Service, Gennady Onishchenko said on July 29 that Russia's sanitary services on Monday imposed a ban on imports of products manufactured by Roshen.

Onishchenko told Interfax on Tuesday that new inspections of Roshen products have not resolved previous complaints, but have only reinforced them.

Roshen operates confectionery factories in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Mariupol and Kremenchuk, the Bershadmoloko dairy producer, a stud farm in Ukraine and also confectionary facilities in Klaipeda, Lithuania and Lipetsk, Russia. The company produces up to 200 types of confectionaries. Its total annual production volume reaches 410,000 tonnes.
