Annual American Chamber of Commerce Appreciation Dinner was held in Kyiv

On February 1, 2024, more than 400 American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) members, diplomats, government officials, and partners gathered in the Ukrainian capital to celebrate the Annual Appreciation Dinner.

Opening remarks were delivered by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Ukraine Bridget Brink, AmCham President Andy Hunder, and AmCham Board of Directors Chair Olena Koszarny. Ambassador Brink praised the business community's resilience and strength of spirit in times of war.

"The American Chamber of Commerce member companies' response to Russia's brutal war has been to hire, rebuild, and produce, and their investment sends a strong message of confidence in the Ukrainian economy, the Ukrainian people, and the future," - Brink said.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine is an influential business association dedicated to improving the business climate in close cooperation with the Ukrainian and U.S. governments. AmCham delivers a united voice of American, international, and Ukrainian companies that have invested over $50 billion in Ukraine and remain committed to the country. The Association thoroughly vets companies prior to admission to membership, ensuring that they meet the highest ethical and governance standards in the community. Currently, 484 companies are members of the American Chamber of Commerce. The President of the association is Andy Hunder. AmCham is a part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and an integral part of the global network of the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce.
