"In total, the Federal Republic of Germany has so far provided or committed for future years military assistance with a value of approximately EUR 28 billion. In 2024 alone for military assistance to Ukraine amount to approximately EUR 7.1 billion... In addition to that there are authorisations to enter commitments in the following years currently amounting to approximately EUR 6 billion," the report says.

In particular, since the beginning of the armed attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Germany has delivered materials from the stockpiles of the Federal Armed Forces worth about EUR 5.2 billion, which reflects the estimated cost of replacement. In addition, more than 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have undergone military training in Germany (costing about EUR 282 million).
