Volodymyr Yatsenko, co-founder of Monobank, manufacturer of Dovbush T10 drones, stated the need to attract resources to the development of high-precision weapons, in particular, UAVs, and the transition to their industrial production.

He told about this on the air of the United National Telethon.

"The ongoing war in Ukraine is a new phenomenon in the history of military operations. Such a scale and power of the use of artillery, drones and EW means has never been seen before. In the summer, the average life span of one drone was 15-20 sorties. Now the density of both fire damage and the use of EW means is simply incredible. Therefore, today the life expectancy of a UAV at the front is 3, maximum 5 sorties," Yatsenko said.

According to him, a modern group of UAVs should have at least 6 devices in order to ensure continuous employment. Volodymyr Yatsenko himself regretted that at one time he purchased only 5 production lines, because there was an urgent need for 10 lines.

“We are constantly moving forward and the opponent is moving, but we have to move faster. After all, the absence of UAVs, the absence of drones is directly proportional to the losses of our fighters," Volodymyr Yatsenko noted.

He emphasized that Ukraine has everything to defeat the enemy in the arms race, because we have experts, money and access to international markets for military and dual purpose products, in particular, modern microchips, we only need the energy of the Ukrainian entrepreneurs and the support of the government.

According to Volodymyr Yatsenko, the Dovbush T10 UAV development team is in constant communication with the military that uses their drones, and can correct flaws online. In addition, the group cooperates with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, from whom they learn about the urgent need for drones.

According to the developer, Ukraine should move from garage production of drones to industrial production, and for this it is necessary to give the Ukrainian entrepreneurs who have resources, development opportunities, in particular, a special licensing system, so that they can buy the necessary equipment, create industrial production abroad, which after the victory they relocate to Ukraine. This, Volodymyr Yatsenko believes, will bring Ukraine into the first league of world arms manufacturers.
