The team of the Kyiv International Economic Forum launches a new educational project - the KIEF Academy

On November 5, in the innovation park UNIT.City, the training program "Leadership for Economic Development" from the KIEF Academy will start.

The KIEF Academy is the flagship curriculum from the Kyiv International Economic Forum. KIEF is one of the largest international forums in Eastern Europe, bringing together representatives of business, government, and society to discuss key economic issues and global trends.

The KIEF Academy is a project aimed at developing Ukrainian emerging leaders in various spheres of public and political life: entrepreneurs and investors, civil servants, opinion leaders, journalists, and experts.

The mission of the KIEF Academy is to offer philosophy, networking, and tools for developing leaders, as well as maximizing economic potential.

Tuition will begin on November 5, 2021. During the program, participants will take part in 8 thematic modules, over 2 months, concerning various aspects of macroeconomics, global trends, fundraising, strategy, culture and PR, GR and include many business cases.

Among the speakers are stellar practitioners from Ukraine, the USA, the EU, and Asia: founder of the World Institute for the Future, member of the Club of Rome - Chandran Nair, Chairman of the NBU Council - Bohdan Danylyshyn, a leading scientist in the World Bank research group and lecturer at Harvard University - Michael Woolcock and others.

The program, which will be held on Fridays and Saturdays in the UNIT.City innovation park also includes:

  •  Dialogues with government officials and international experts;
  •  Alumni Club (networking, study tours, special conditions for participation in KIEF).

During the first recruitment, 30 participants will take part in the project. To take part in the Academy, contestants must go through the selection procedure, which comprises three stages:

  • Registration for the program;
  • Writing a motivational essay;
  • An interview with representatives of the Academy, after which you will receive an answer about participation in the first recruitment.

The total cost of the program is UAH 70,000. Based on the results of the review of motivational essays, the organizers keep the right to provide individual scholarships up to 70% of the program cost.

Applications for participation in the program continue until October 22, 2021.
