Vitagro Partner to invest another $2 mln in its plant in next 2 years

In 2025-2026, the VITAGRO group of companies will invest an additional $2 million in its assets for the production of plant protection products, microfertilizers and seeds - Vitagro Partner.

The group's director for development and investments, Serhiy Savchuk, said this at a panel discussion dedicated to investments at the conference Doing Agribusiness in Ukraine.

Vitagro Partner plans to invest primarily in expanding the line of new products, in particular, focusing on bio products.

"We understand that Ukraine is now actively moving towards integration with the European Union, and we expect that our legislation will be harmonized with European legislation in the coming years. This will require our farmers to switch to more environmentally friendly products. And here our expertise will definitely find its consumer," confirmed the director of Vitagro Partner, Oleksandr Kholod.

In 2024, investments in improving the technological processes of crop protection products production allowed to increase the productivity of two production lines by 30%, which will allow producing up to 7.5 million liters of products per year. In addition, the improvement increased the productivity of the line for the production of liquid complex fertilizers by 40%, which will allow producing up to 3.5 million liters of liquid complex fertilizers per year. In the future, the number of lines will be increased to four. The company also has seed production capacities of 25,000 tonnes per year.

The construction of the plant for the production of crop protection products and microfertilizers started in 2021, and it was launched in September 2023, already during the full-scale invasion.

Vitagro Partner is a company that consolidates the assets of the VITAGRO group for the production of plant protection products, microfertilizers and seeds. In 2023, the company put into operation a modern plant in Khmelnytsky region, spending about $8 million on construction. In the next 2 years, the group intends to invest another $2 million in it.

VITAGRO is one of the largest industrial groups in Ukraine with assets in agricultural, energy, processing, construction, and chemical industries. It was founded in 1998. The group owns enterprises in Khmelnytsky, Rivne, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kyiv regions. During the full-scale invasion, the group built and launched five processing enterprises. VITAGRO’s head office is located in Khmelnytsky.
