Ukrainian Foreign Ministry creates operational HQ to help Ukrainians in Israel

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has created an operational headquarters to assist Ukrainian citizens in Israel. At the moment, there are no Ukrainians among those injured as a result of the fighting, Oleh Nikolenko, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has said.

"The Ukrainian embassy is in constant contact with the Israeli authorities and the main hospitals. Diplomats are keeping the situation under control," Nikolenko wrote on Facebook.

Ukrainians in Israel are advised to refrain from visiting the central and southern regions of the country and to closely monitor reports from local Israeli authorities to increase awareness of developments. In the event of shelling, it is recommended to pay attention to all warnings and follow the instructions of local authorities. If you are in populated areas of Israel that are in close proximity to the Gaza Strip, it is recommended to immediately use bomb shelters when the air raid signal is activated.

In case of emergency situations, Ukrainian citizens must contact the hotlines of the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel: + 972 546 676 782 or the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Ramallah + 972 59 823 93 99.

For more information, it is recommended to follow the IDF Internal Front Command website https://www.oref.org.il/en (link accessible from within Israel).
