Ukraine meets 72% of commitments of Ukraine-EU Association Agreement – report
Ukraine has already met 72% of all commitments under the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement.
"Ukraine has already met 72% of all commitments under the Agreement, which is an important element of Ukraine's integration into the EU's internal market. Overall progress in implementing the Agreement in 2022 increased by 9%," according to the report on the implementation of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement for 2022.
The greatest progress has been made in the following areas: intellectual property - 94%, public financial management - 90%, statistics and information exchange - 96%, justice, freedom, security, human rights - 91%, and humanitarian policy - 91%.
The least progress was made in the following areas: tax issues, science, technology, innovation and space - 60%, social policy and labor relations - 54%, transport, transport infrastructure, postal and courier services - 53%, consumer protection - 48%, financial cooperation and anti-fraud - 24%.
For 2014-2022, the main executors of the Agreement's obligations demonstrate the following indicators: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has fulfilled 70% of the measures and 1% is in the process of implementation, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has fulfilled 61% of the measures, and other government agencies have fulfilled 59% of the measures.
