President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has received the Coat of Arms of Tallinn award, the press service of the President's Office reports.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky received the Coat of Arms of Tallinn – an award that is presented as a sign of special respect. The decision on awarding the Head of the Ukrainian State was made by the Tallinn City Council on May 5," reads the message published on the Telegram channel on Sunday.

It is noted that "the award for Volodymyr Zelensky was handed over by Mayor of Tallinn Yevgeny Osinovsky to First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniyenko, who is on a visit to Estonia."

Osinovsky stressed that this award "demonstrates the solidarity of Tallinn and its residents with the people of Ukraine and their support in the heroic struggle against Russian aggression."

"In Europe in the 21st century, there is no place for violent border changes, the killing of people and the bombing of cities. I am sure that we will win this war. I wish your President and your people success in this war, which is important for the whole world. I am sure that Estonia, our people and Tallinn stand powerfully with you in this war. Glory to Ukraine!" Osinovsky said.
