President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree "On annual national programs under the auspices of the Ukraine-NATO Commission", which approves the provision on the development of relevant annual programs and the evaluation of the results of their implementation.

"In accordance with the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine annually ensures the development of draft annual national programs under the auspices of the Ukraine-NATO Commission for the relevant years in accordance with the regulation and coordinates the activities of central executive authorities and other state bodies to implement annual national programs," the presidential press-service reported on Tuesday.

The implementation of the decree will allow to bring into compliance the system and mechanism for coordinating the activities of executive authorities in the field of Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as adapting the cycle of annual national programs under the auspices of the NATO-Ukraine Commission to the criteria and standards applied in the North Atlantic Alliance, in accordance with current regulations.
