NBU simplifies interaction between banks, resident exporting services via Internet

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has canceled the requirement for Ukrainian resident freelancers who provide services to non-residents through the Internet to present examples of their work when transferring funds on export operations, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maksym Nefyodov wrote on Facebook.

According to him, the NBU promulgated clarification as to what documents the banks require from residents when non-residents transfer funds to them for work and services. In particular, banks now require their clients to provide copies of contracts with non-residents, as well as copies of acts and other documents confirming the execution of work, provision of services and exports of intellectual property rights.

The NBU has also clarified that a public offer contract is sufficient for providing a bank with information on the above mentioned operations, as well as invoices or other documents that have enough information on the parties.
