Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held the first Headquarters meeting on technology, the participants of which discussed the protection of the Ukrainian sky, in particular, countering Russian "Shaheds" and missiles.

"This was actually a founding meeting. A special format for the implementation of innovations for defense with the participation of scientists and weapons manufacturers, developers of technological solutions for our defense forces and the security of Ukraine. Of course, there were all the necessary commanders and representatives of the army, intelligence and security forces," Zelenskyy said in Telegram channel on Friday.

According to him, the participants of the Headquarters focused on the first and key task – protecting the sky, countering "Shaheds" and missiles.

"A long and fairly detailed discussion on these issues has already taken place, and there are already the first outlines of how we can further strengthen our defense," Zelenskyy said. He stressed that specific solutions should be presented at the next Headquarters meeting on technology.
