27 injured in Dnipropetrovsk bombing, 25 of them hospitalized, says Emergencies Ministry

Some 27 people were injured as a result of blasts that hit Dnipropetrovsk on Friday, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.

The ministry added that 25 of those injured were hospitalized.

Later, the press service of the ministry informed that 13 people were hospitalized with injuries of various degrees of severity as a result of the first blast near the Opera House tram stop in the center of Dnipropetrovsk at 11:50.

Eleven people "including nine children" were injured in the second blast the occurred on Stoliarova Street near the Batkivschyna Cinema and a secondary technical school at 1230.

One person was injured in the third blast near the park named after Lazar Hloba at 1245.

The ministry also said that no one was injured in the fourth blast near the Opera House at around 1300 not far from the site of the first explosion.

A source from a security agency told Interfax-Ukraine that twelve people were hospitalized with injuries of moderate severity. One of them is undergoing a surgery to amputate the arm.
