Growth in prices of fodder grain seen in Ukraine during winter holidays
The prices of fodder grain in Ukraine over the past two weeks noticeably grew under pressure of international trends and the rise in the dollar exchange rate to the hryvnia, market experts have told Interfax-Ukraine.
The key factor that impacted the rising in the price of Ukrainian grain was the stir up of its exports due to a rise in the prices of grain in the world and the weakening of the hryvnia.
ProAgro Company said that at present, fodder grain is the most popular crop on the Ukrainian market.
Experts said that of fodder grain is mainly purchased by exporters, while domestic processors use old stocks.
The prices of bread wheat remain stable due to passive trading.
The analysts forecast that the prices of fodder grain in Ukraine will continue growing.
