Kernel manager sells 300,000 company shares for $4.02 mln

The legal entity, controlled by one of the managers of Kernel group of companies, on November 27-28 sold 300,000 shares of Kernel Holding S.A. (Luxembourg).

According to a report by Kernel on the Warsaw Stock Exchange's (WSE) website, the average selling price of one share was PLN47.42 ($13.4 per share at the rate of the National Bank of Poland on November 29).

According to the WSE, Kernel's share price on November 29 rose by 0.6%, to PLN47.79 per share.

Kernel is the world's largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil, the leading producer and supplier of agricultural products from the Black Sea region to the world markets. The vertically integrated structure of the company is built on closely interrelated business segments: production, export and domestic sales of sunflower oil, plant growing, grain export, grain storage and transshipment at elevators and port terminals. Since 2007 the company's shares have been traded on the WSE.
